Privacy Policy

Our promise

Drobe is a wardrobe you own. We process the least data needed to run it, we never sell your personal information, and every optional use is off until you turn it on.

What we hold

• Your account: email, name, an optional home region, and a securely hashed password.
• Your closet: the items you add, their photos, and saved looks — organised into the household profiles you create.
• If you enable them: imported items (from a link or a forwarded receipt) and shopping-suggestion preferences.
• If you connect your own AI key: it is encrypted at rest and never returned to your device or shared.

Legal bases & purposes

We process your closet to provide the service you asked for (contract). Optional features — importing from links/receipts, and personalised shopping suggestions — run only on your explicit, opt-in consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in Privacy & control.

Special categories (Art. 9)

We never infer or target you on religion, health or disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, political opinion, or trade-union membership. Suggestion feeds are filtered to remove items that would reveal these; your own such pieces are excluded from any profiling; and our AI is instructed — and its output is filtered — never to record them.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information. We use processors to run the service (hosting, storage, and — only if you enable it — an inbound-email provider and, in future, an affiliate network for shopping links). If suggestions are ever monetised, affiliate links are disclosed and carry tracking only with your consent and unless you have opted out of “sell/share”.

Retention

We keep your closet while your account is open, and deleting your account removes everything immediately. Our retention ceilings — roughly 24 months for consent records and outfit-of-the-day photos used for style learning — are being enforced by a scheduled pruning job we are rolling out; until then, that data is still fully removed the moment you delete your account or the specific item.

Your rights

You can access and export your data (a machine-readable JSON download), correct it, limit or withdraw consent, and erase everything — all from Privacy & control and Settings. EU/UK users have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

US state privacy (CPRA/CCPA and similar)

You have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing”. Drobe does not sell personal information. Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to opt out, and to limit the use of sensitive information. We honour Global Privacy Control browser signals automatically.

Children

Drobe isn’t for children under 13, and profiles marked as a child are excluded from personalised shopping suggestions.
